I don't know whether she is happy and I don't think she is rich, just making a good income. For some people it is awful to realise that they are part of something that is wrong. She has become part of an extended peer network for a large number of teenage girls, who rather than finding friends and a life of their own they have her, a much better friend than they could otherwise have.
