Kids react to film cameras

Ah, this is so funny. Kids express so well the horror I have at the thought of ever having to go back to film.
Now, for some reason Blogger posting page is just timing out for me the past couple of days. So I'm doing this on iPad which doesn't have a good app for it. So I won't be posting much until I have this solved somehow.
And to see this video, I have to send you to YouTube. I think you'll really like it though.

Maybe hipster cameras like the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 will bring about a kind of return to film - in modest way, like with vinyl.

You could be right. Very modest, though, I think. Once people have gotten used to a convenience, it's a durn tiny percentage who willingly let it go.

And while the retro feel may be kewl, I very much doubt that very many people will think that film has anything to offer above digital, despite a few people saying that's their experience.
At least if you want to get it into a computer, rather than darkroom printed. Because I've bought sets scanned with a pro machine from 35mm, and the contrast range, or colors, and especially resolution, does not come close to even a 12MP camera.

(I'm not disagreeing with you, Joe, just adding a twist.)
