Clever demo, but lots of details are missing, like how concentrated is the urine? Lots of Africans don't get much water per day. Generating power for a single light bulb for 6 hours from a whole day of urine production, uh, well... The cost of the generator probably exceeds the annual incomes of the 4 families, plus the cost of the hydrogen-tight fittings needed to prevent an explosion, and the compressor. But they certainly got their 15 minutes of fame.
Yes, I tried following links to find a more substantial article, but found none. I posted it anyway as a general stimulation to the "more-things-are-possible..." glands.
